1- Yesterday in class, I mispronounced the word library. One of my friends corrected me.
2- I once waited for a friend outside a café for almost an hour – while she waited for me inside the café! She texted me, but I had left my cell phone at home. I learned to take my cell phone every time I go out.
3- People who are always late get on my nerves. I’m very impatient. I hate waiting for other people.
4- I made a mistake when I started studying English here. I started in a class that was too advanced for me. If I had started at a lower level, I would have felt more confident.

2- In college, I met a girl who seemed shy and quiet. When we became friends, I realized she was very talkative and outgoing. She was quiet the day we met because she had a sore throat! I learned not to judge people the first time I meet them.
3- I try to get out of doing the dishes. I don’t like it.
4- I was visiting my sister in another city and went out with some friends. We stayed out very late, but I didn’t call my sister because I didn’t have my cell phone with me and I couldn’t remember her phone number. She was so worried that she called the police. I should have kept my cell phone in my bag. I should have gone home earlier, too.
